This year witnessed intense publishing activity (84 titles) and the Publishing
House opened its doors to other important authors, particularly writers of
fiction: Alberto Arbasino, Saul Bellow, Theodor W. Adorno, Karen Blixen,
Kazimierz Brandys, Jorge Luis Borges, Rudolph Arnheim, Osamu Dazai, Friedrich
Dürrenmatt, Edward M. Forster, Max Frisch, Doris Lessing, Renzo Rosso,
Bertrand Russell, Nathalie Sarraute. Among the new series figured: "Le
Comete".
