1965

In 1962 Feltrinelli had already published Lettere
cubane by Wright Mills. In 1964 he met Fidel Castro in Havana to discuss a
book of memoirs to be written by the Cuban leader. (right):

abandoned by the author a few years later..

Parise, whose novel Il padrone and a further edition of Il ragazzo
morto e le comete were published in 1965.
A "happening" in the Feltrinelli Bookshop on Rome, and (right): a
jukebox installed in a space in the bookshop, which was directed by Carlo
Conticelli.This year the Publishing House celebrated its first ten years of
activity.
Among the new authors this time figured Boris Pilnjàk, Violette Leduc,
Ernesto Sabato and Kyle Onstott.
