(Left): Edgar Morin entered the Feltrinelli Catalogue with Il cinema o l'uomo immaginario. The following year his Il metodo. Ordine disordine organizzazione was translated. (right): A collaboration with ARCI resulted in this publication containing nine hundred addresses of various youth movements and associations throughout Italy, and Europe too. In September Franco Occhetto became Editorial Director of Feltrinelli and Renato Milan, who has been Managing Director since 1986, joined the Publishing House.

This year saw another success for Pier Vittorio Tondelli, with Pao Pao and an important contribution Un teoria della giustizia by John Rawls with an introduction for the Italian public by Salvatore Veca. A new South American writer was César Calvo (Le tre metà di Ino Moxo e altri maghi verdi). In "Arte e la teoria dell'arte", Scritti sul teatro by Oskar Schlemmer was published.
