novelist and also author of many satirical books on the school; Erri De Luca (Non
ora, non qui); Richard Ford, American, (Rock Springs); James Meade,
British economist, Nobel Prize Winner, 1977 (Agathotopia. L'economia del
partnership); Hector Bianciotti, the Franco-Argentinian writer (La
notte delle stelle azzurre); Nagib Mafuz (Il nostro quartiere; Vicolo
del mortaio), who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1988;
Isaiah Berlin (Quattro saggi sulla libertà).
The
Feltrinelli Bookshops increase in number every year: Palermo ('85), Naples
('86), Bari ('87), Milan, Corso Buenos Aires ('88), Rome, Torre Argentina,
('89, left: guest of honour, Michele Serra, a Feltrinelli author and founder
of the satirical publication "Cuore"), Bologna Zanichelli ('90),
Padua ('90), Genoa ('91), Salerno ('91), Modena ('92), Bologna, Via Zamboni
('92), Pescara ('93), Terni ('94), Ancona ('94). Romano Montroni is the
Director of the Bookshops. Monica Randi joined the Publishing House in the
sector dealing with foreign business and foreign fiction.
