This
year saw new publications in Narratori Feltrinelli: Si sta facendo sempre
più tardi, an epistolary novel by Antonio Tabucchi, Montedidio by
Erri de Luca (right), Saltatempo by Stefano Benni, Cinema naturale by
Gianni Celati, Primaverile by Dario Voltolini and Canti del caos by
Antonio Moresco.
Domenico
Starnone with Via Gemito won the Strega Prize and the Campiello
Prize, Selezione Giurati a dei Letterati. Banana Yoshimoto's tenth success, H.H.
was published in the series Canguri.
Super UE and Saggi , two new sections were added to the series Universale
Economica with titles and authors for a prestigious and long-lasting catalogue
of paperbacks. Two of the first Super UE titles were: Benni, Dr Niù
and Arbasino, Rap.
Another
novelty was the series "Le Comete". Figuring among the first titles
were: Il soffio della vita by Boris Pasternak; I segreti della carne,
a biography of Colette (the photo on the left was taken from the book and Orsa
Minore by Sibilla Aleramo.
Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Publishing House acquired a strategic participation in
another publishing house, namely Apogeo.
